Team settings

Here you learn how to change the team's name, description, logo and billing information. The page is also where you delete the team if it is no longer needed.

Who can open this page?

Requires administrator role

Only secretaries and team leads can open Team Settings and make changes. Other members do not see a button to this page.

Open the page from the Team Settings tile on the home screen.

The page shows the team's details in sections. The values are locked until you tap Change or Edit in the section you want to update. Make the change and tap Save, or Cancel if you change your mind. One section can be edited at a time.

At the top are the team's name, description and logo. Tap Edit to change them.

Team name is what other members see in their list of teams. It can be up to 50 characters.

Description is optional free text about the team, for example the name of the hunting ground or its history. It is shown to members on the team detail view and can be a few paragraphs long.

The logo appears across the app wherever the team is shown: in the hero banner on the home screen, on invoices and in your list of teams. A square image looks best.

  1. Tap Edit in the section
  2. Tap Add logo, or Change logo if the team already has one
  3. Pick Take photo or Choose from library
  4. Crop the image if the app asks, then tap Done
  5. Tap Save

Want to remove the logo? Tap Remove logo, then tap once more to confirm.

Size limit

The logo can be at most 5 MB. If the image is larger you get an error. Crop or compress the image on your phone, then upload again.

Hunting season

Here the team sets when the hunting season starts and ends. The season is given as a day and month and repeats every year. The default is 1 July to 30 June, the Swedish hunting year.

  1. Tap Change in the Hunting season section
  2. Tap Season starts and pick a month and day
  3. Tap Season ends and pick a month and day
  4. Tap Save

The season controls how hunts, harvest, and observations are split per year in Statistics and Harvest log. That way the team gets the right breakdown even if you don't follow the standard hunting year.

County for hunting seasons

The season table shows the dates for the county your hunting ground is in. Normally the app works out the county itself from the ground boundary on the map. Here you can pick the county manually if needed.

  1. Tap Edit in the County for hunting seasons section
  2. Pick Automatic or a county from the list
  3. Tap Save

If you hunt in the northern part of Värmland, Dalarna or Gävleborg, pick "northern part" in the list. Different moose dates apply there. Read more under Hunting seasons.

Weather location

Normally the app works out the weather from the centre point of the team's markers on the map. Under Weather location you can instead pick a fixed spot for the forecast.

  1. Tap Change in the Weather location section
  2. Tap the Weather location field
  3. Search for an address, use your own position, or point out the spot on the map
  4. Tap Save

The chosen spot applies to the weather for everyone in the team. To go back to the automatic centre point, remove the location with the cross and save.

Billing information

The fields under Billing information appear on receipts and invoices from Jaktli. Every field is optional. Fill them in if the team is an association or company that needs an organization number and address on the invoice.

Available fields:

  • Company / organization
  • Organization number
  • Address (street address)
  • Postal code and city
  • Country
  • Billing email (if the invoice should go to a different address than your own)
  • Reference / your reference (for example a contact person or project number)

When is the billing information used?

The values are used when the system creates the next invoice through Mollie. Changes take effect from the next invoice onward, not retroactively on past receipts.

Tap Change in the section, fill in the fields and tap Save. If the team has no billing information yet, a button to add it is shown instead.

If the subscription has expired

Team settings stay open even when the team's subscription has expired. Administrators can always add billing information, export the team's data or delete the team, even while the rest of the app is locked.

Delete team

At the bottom of the page there is a red Danger zone with a button to delete the whole team.

This cannot be undone

When you delete the team, all data disappears immediately: members, calendar, notices, documents, photos, hunt log and cameras. Pending invites are cancelled. Any active subscription is cancelled but is not refunded automatically.

  1. Tap Delete team
  2. Confirm in the dialog that appears
  3. You are sent back to the start screen and need to pick or create a new team

Want to leave the team but keep it alive for the others? Ask another administrator to remove you from Members instead.
