Billing

Here you'll learn how payments for Jaktli work, what it costs, and how to start, change, or cancel the team's subscription as an administrator.

Requires administrator role

Only administrators (secretary and team lead) can view and manage billing. Other members don't see this page. If the subscription expires, however, the app is locked for every member until an administrator restarts it.

What does Jaktli cost?

  • 150 kr per team member per year (one annual invoice)
  • Payment with Swish or card
  • 90-day free trial, no card required

Ten members means the team pays 1 500 kr per year.

Guest hunters are free

Members with the Guest hunter role take no paid seat. If ten people are in the team and two of them are guest hunters, you pay for eight. Read more under Members.

The statuses

The billing page shows the state your subscription is in:

  • Trial: free trial active, all features available
  • Active: paid subscription, renews automatically every year
  • Canceled: subscription will not renew but access remains until the end of the period
  • Past due: latest payment failed, you have a 14-day grace period before access is restricted
  • Expired: trial or subscription has ended

What happens when the subscription expires?

The team's data does not disappear, but the features are locked until a new payment is made. Administrators can still open Team settings. There they can add billing information and pay again, export the team's data or delete the team.

Start a subscription

  1. Open Billing
  2. Choose the number of seats (at least as many as the current member count, guest hunters aside)
  3. Tap Pay now
  4. Complete the payment via Swish or card
  5. Wait until the app brings you back

INFO

Subscribing during the trial does not end the trial. The paid period starts when the trial expires, so you don't pay twice.

Change the seat count

When the subscription is active you can adjust seats:

  1. Use + and - to change the number
  2. Increasing seats charges a prorated fee for the rest of the period
  3. Decreasing seats applies the new price at the next renewal
  4. Tap Save

The seat count cannot be lower than the number of current members, guest hunters aside.

TIP

Need extra seats temporarily for a moose-hunting weekend? Add the seats when the new members arrive and lower again afterwards. You only pay the new amount at the next annual renewal. If the visitors are only hunting with you, give them the Guest hunter role instead and you need no extra seats at all.

Cancel subscription

  1. Tap Cancel subscription
  2. Confirm in the dialog
  3. The team keeps access until the end of the paid period

Cancelling

When the paid period ends, the team loses access to features that require a subscription. You can start the subscription again at any time.

Reactivate subscription

If you've cancelled and changed your mind:

  1. Open Billing
  2. Tap Reactivate subscription
  3. The subscription renews automatically when the current period ends

Saved payment method

Once the team has an active subscription, the payment method used for the first payment is saved so renewals can be charged automatically. The billing page shows which method is in use. For cards you see the last four digits and the expiry date, for Swish you see the linked phone number.

To switch card or Swish account you first need to remove the saved method:

  1. Tap Remove payment method
  2. Confirm in the dialog that appears
  3. The subscription continues to the end of the current period but does not renew after that

Pick a new method the next time you pay, either when you reactivate or start the subscription again.

Payment history

At the bottom of the page you'll find a list of all payments with date, amount, payment method, and status (paid, failed, open, or pending). Tap a row to see the receipt.

Subscription history

A timeline of every change to the subscription: activation, renewal, seat changes, cancellation, and reactivation. Useful if anyone asks what happened.
